Witchy Woman

I can't take credit for the ultra-delicious caramel apple lollipops, but I created the witchy woman using black trash bags (cape), green and black yarn(hair and tie for cape), black card stock (hat), googly eyes and red construction paper (mouth). These are going into a goody bag for my Daughter's class.

Worth losing a tooth over!

As far as I can remember, this was my first attempt at making caramel apples. Hopefully no one will lose a tooth, but if they do, it was well worth it!

Cakes!

Here are a couple cakes I made today for the cake walk on Saturday.

Snickerdoodle cake with cinnamon buttercream frosting. One of the tastiest cakes I've had in a long time!

Chocolate pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting and chocolate glaze. I wasn't able to try a piece of this one, but it smells absolutely scrumptious!

Pumpkins

The last and final ones of the fall batch are complete! I also added some red to the non-swirl leaves for a slightly bolder effect.

Acorns

Just when you thought nuts were just for squirrels...along comes greatness in a cookie!

Fall leaves

My Daughter's school is having a bake sale next weekend, which I volunteered for. I'm making a lot of cookies, two cakes and caramel apples. I'm currently starting on the sugar cookies, since they need to be frosted and given time to dry. Today I finished the leaves. These are the basic ones. I plan on adding more detail to the pumpkin shapes and acorn shapes.
