Bombs and 8 Balls

The picture isn't the greatest, I took it real quick to share with the client (love how professional that sounds) and forgot to take a better picture of both. I love how the 8 ball came out, but the bombs I had to do a little differently than the last ones. The "fuse" on the bomb needed to be completely on the cookie instead of hanging off because they were being shipped. They would have easily broken otherwise.

Sunflowers and Bombs - great combo!

I've been wanting to try a new thing where I make "extras" on the cookies using icing. In my latest batch, the "extras" are ladybugs and fuses. When I start thinking about new cookies, I also think about what I can add to them, so that has been fun. The bombs were a trial cookie, meant for a friend whose Husband works with EOD (Explosive Ordinance Disposal - bombs) I loved how they came out as well. Reminds me of Bomb Omb from Super Mario. Haha. Here are the pictures from today. The ladybugs, the sunflower without the ladybug, the sunflower with and also the bomb.

Mini Shamrocks

My friend DeAnna is attending a get together where everyone has to bring their favorite cookie. Her favorite happens to be my sugar cookies! I'm very excited that I'm a favorite of someones! Because she needed such a large amount, she asked that I make small ones, similar in size to the heart cookies I made for Valentine's. She needs them next week so I thought mini shamrocks would be perfect! I made them in the same style as the hearts but tied them off with a green ribbon instead of the white.
